Ravenna is a modern help desk for internal operations teams that work in Slack. It allows IT, HR, and Ops teams to manage and resolve colleague requests directly in Slack, eliminating the need to context switch with other systems.
Ravenna deploys in minutes, utilizes Slack's intuitive UI for ticket submission and management, and leverages AI automation to summarize, respond, and create knowledge documentation automatically.
Something that's important to understand right off the bat is that Ravenna is really two things: The Ravenna web app and the Ravenna Slack bot. The Slack bot is what gets installed into Slack to allow you to create and manage tickets in Slack. The Ravenna web app is a standalone ticketing system that creates and updates a mirror record of every ticket created in Slack, contains all of your admin settings, reporting, knowledge base, integrations, and custom workflows. The Slack bot can't function without the web app, but the web app can function as a standalone ticketing platform without the Slack bot. In the same way that Nick Carter is essentially useless without the Back Street Boys, the Ravenna Slack bot really needs the Ravenna web app setup correctly in order to function.
Up next let's get Ravenna installed.
